FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 27, 2016 – CRG will roll through the gates this week at Road Atlanta for the final round of the 2016 Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Series season at the Road Atlanta 150.   The team and their drivers Sarah Cattaneo and Owen Trinkler look to end the season on a high note with a strong result at a track both drivers are very familiar with.

Looking to pick up where they left off just two weeks ago that saw Cattaneo qualify her #44 I Do Borrow/A&C Properties Nissan Altima Coupe on the front row and lead the race prior to turning the car over to Trinkler, who also took the lead before a mechanical issue ended their race prematurely.   The team knows they’ve got the car, crew, and drivers to get the job done as they look to take home their third victory of the season.

Cattaneo states, “I’m very proud of how our team has done this year.  Our crew works very hard to provide Owen and me a car to compete with, and I know we have the ability to end the season strong.”

The series race starts leader, Trinkler, mentions, “I’m very pleased with the leap forward that Sarah’s taken this year in her race craft.  She’s one of the top starting drivers in the Street Tuner class this year as she’s shown in both qualifying and races.  The team has done an excellent job of giving both of us a car that we can be both comfortable and competitive with and we’re looking to head into the offseason with some momentum on a track we both are strong at.”

The Road Atlanta 150 kicks off with Practice on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 2:35 pm EDT.  The race will drop the green flag on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 12:25 pm EDT and can be viewed live on IMSA.tv or via tape delayed broadcast on Fox Sports 1 on Sunday, October 9th at 11:00 am EDT.
